Dinero, leader of the herd.
Has the ability to manage an entire herd and keeps everyone protected while remaining calm, collected and doing so with a very gentle manor.
Bella, Matriarch of the herd
Working closely behind Dinero, she acts as "mamma" keeping everyone in line and together. Decides when it is time to move, play and eat and when it is acceptable for the herd to engage with newcomers trying to join. She is sweet, very social and usually calm and collected, but if she senses something is off or gets too far from the herd she quickly changes gears
Tuck, "class clown"
He will be the one to open gates, untie himself and figure out door handles to let the herd escape... he is fun, full of energy and needs a creative mind to work with him as he is quite assertive and likes to think everything through on his own. Nothing is ever boring with this guy and has made best friends with Paisano - our mini donkey
Nakoma, Dineros partner
She is just young, but as she has matured the last couple of years her and Dinero have become extremely close. If she is not hanging out and playing with her two mares (Bella and Ellie) she is at DIneros side whether it be sleeping or eating. She is calm and sweet. Easy to handle and loves to play and be social. Been so fun watching her mature into such a beautiful mare!
Ellie, Blue eyed beauty
She is actually a boarder here, but been here since the beginning and such an important part of the herd! She is sweet and playful and loves running, jumping and bucking with her mare friends. One of the first to come up and say hello and always a hot topic with her beautiful blue eyes! One with a white lightening strike of hair leading to it...
Grayden, the lone ranger
This thoroughbred born on the track, but never raced has found his permanent home here at Serenity Rising. He is kind, loving and wanders the property freely most of the warm summer months. Never been super independent, but always willing to please and give his all. A heart of gold, a sweet and caring boy, but often finds himself alone or wanting to be near people for guid
Did you know pumpkin seeds are a natural dewormer for animals?! And also so many vitamins and nutrients! The animals would be thrilled to have all your pumpkins after Halloween! Please remove all candles, toothpicks and foreign objects before dropping them off. We also take corn stalks and DRIED straw :-). Drop off on the tarp beside the white shed at the bend in the driveway! <3
